Something very curious.

I've noticed something very curious, and Im not sure that it's a big deal
(or even anything to be concerned about). But I would like to know what's
happening, if somebody could tell me.

I have a site here that runs pm2ers and pm11s, when I telnet to one of
them and do a show sess, it gives me the normal information. However, I
always get a mixture of IPs and names the first time I type a show sess.
However, the second time I type a show sess, all the ips seem to have
resolved.

For example, this is what I get when I get on one of my pm11s and do the
first show sess:

Port User Host/Inet/Dest Type Dir Status Start
Idle
---- --------------- ---------------- ------- --- ------------- ------
------
S0 rcwjacks 205.200.13.199 Netwrk In ESTABLISHED 40
0
S1 gillies 205.200.13.193 Netwrk In ESTABLISHED 36
0
S2 - - Log/Net In IDLE 0
0
S3 rbujold 205.200.13.198 Netwrk In ESTABLISHED 34
0
S4 - - Log/Net In IDLE 0
0
S5 campbell 205.200.13.194 Netwrk In ESTABLISHED 32
0

Now this is the second time I've done it, which is took me just the amount
of time to do a cut and paste, plus type this sentence :

Port User Host/Inet/Dest Type Dir Status Start
Idle
---- --------------- ---------------- ------- --- ------------- ------
------
S0 rcwjacks pm208.icenter.ne Netwrk In ESTABLISHED 41
0
S1 gillies pm202.icenter.ne Netwrk In ESTABLISHED 37
0
S2 - - Log/Net In IDLE 0
0
S3 rbujold pm207.icenter.ne Netwrk In ESTABLISHED 35
0
S4 - - Log/Net In IDLE 0
0
S5 campbell pm203.icenter.ne Netwrk In ESTABLISHED 33
0

Everything has resolved fine.

I don't think it can be a comOS specific problem, since it seems to happen
with the pm2ers as well.

As far as I can see, this isn't causing any network havoc, but if somebody
can explain this, I would be more than happy to listen.

Thanks,
