Keep in mind that this is NOT an official support channel - just an
unofficial discussion list. Some of us are on it and scan it from
time to time, but that is no guarantee that issues raised on it will
automatically come to the attention of support personnel.

Opening tickets is good. It gives us real metrics to work with,
rather than, "Well, I seem to hear about this on portmaster-users
quite a bit." Management types like metrics.

It also has the advantage of being official-like, unlike, as I've
mentioned, this list.
