In our PM3, the most problems come with MultiTech and Well modems.
PM3 just tosses the user out after 1 sec of connection time.
If we try with telnet style login, we get few chars of gibberish
and then the line is cut.
Nother funny thing was with one customer, when he couldn't get
FTP work faster than just few bytes per sec. All the other
things work without problems. Weird indeed.
One customer has gotten his Multitech to work without problems,
so it MIGHT be the question of rom version of multitech, but go
figure...
