Also I currently have 73% user and 67% GDI, but help-about shows 100% free.

Worst case I went from the above values to 0% GDI and the display stopped,
but it did recover on close. This was just opening and logging in a PM3
with 48 modems, rev 3.5.1b8 and it only displayed about 15 modems.
I don't use it much, but this behaviour has been around for a few revs now.
Anyone else seeing such waste of resources, especially GDI?
