Greetings.. :) I'm looking for recommendations on a router, and thought
this would be the best place to ask, considering the sum of knowledge
kicking around here.. :)

We need a small office router that's capable of doing async POTS dial-out,
but one that can be quickly (and with as little pain as possible) upgraded
to support ISDN, Frame Relay, or T+ as the demand allows. The plan is to
initially set the network up on a 33.6K modem, then upgrade their connection
as they see fit.

The ability to do ISDN and the various WAN technologies doesn't have to be
built in, as long as the option to upgrade is available. The router MUST be
able to respond to SNMP monitoring, and should be able to produce SNMP
TRAPs. Only IP routing is required, all other protocols are un-needed.

Any recommendations any of you may have would be greatly appriecated. If
any of you have old hardware kicking around that fits the bill, I'm willing
to entertain offers. :)

Sincerely, Warren
