You don't need expect. A simple text file of commands fed into 'pmcommand'
works.

Already in progress. You'll notice the new CLAG has TFTP docmentation on
uploading a config file - coming is the ability to download the config.

Which ones? Seriously - improving SNMP is on the engineering schedule.
OSPF is out on the PM-3 and out VSN (Very Soon Now) on the other units.
BGP(4) and RIPv2 are being tested.

Please do. We hear a lot of "Too bad you product doesn't do what box X
does" - but not many people actually say exactly what, and as importantly,
why they need it. (Sometimes there is another way to do the samething.)
