When I started the radius daemon, I discovered that not only didn't the
server resolve requests from the PM2, but that requests caused the daemon
to terminate all by itself.
After many hours of attempting to isolate the problem, I discovered that
the setting "Auth-Type = Local" was the culprit. Once removed, the Radius
software worked fine. To be on the safe side, I reverted back to the 1.6
rev until I have time to look at the source code and figure out why that
setting caused the daemon to die.
