Hi there,

I now have Portmaster Upgrades for my Cayman OEM boxes, so please accept me
as a worthy member of *pormaster*-users :-)

A customer is trying to use NT as a router. He can call in to us and is
validated. Everything is OK. The NT uses RAS for this purpose. Using SLIP
he can use his application software. Using PPP there seems to be a routing
problem.

We have configured him as a LOCATION, but can't get a session going.
The CONNECT comes, the PPP session starts, but fails on LCP negotiation.
NT RAS apparantly doesn't support SLIP for Dial-In, only PPP. For Dial-Out
both SLIP and PPP are supported.

1) where can I find detailled PPP documentation?

2) anyone already connected to NT as a router? Using RAS or something else?

3) any NT specialists out there? (I suspect so, having seen the requests for
a RADIUS port to that platform)

Regards,

Phil
