this error is becoming more frequent. Is the memory in the Portmaster in need
of replacement? The net effect is that the user table gets corrupted. The
rest seems OK. Was this a collision between the command line and an internal
activity? I always make changes on-line.
We have now installed a RADIUS central validation scheme, so the users do not
have to be stored in the Portmasters any more.
The error happened after making changes to the user table.
Command> save password
Couldn't save user table
Saving global configuration
Saving ports
User table successfully saved
Hosts table successfully saved
Static route table successfully saved
Location table successfully saved
SNMP table successfully saved
Filter table successfully saved
New configurations successfully saved.
