I have several portmasters in a couple locations. We have been seeing a
problem with users attempting to connect with assorted software. When a user
attempts to connect they get an invalid login, when I start digging through
the radius logfile I see something like this.

Failed attempt to authenticate 'myuser' with password ' wuw' against 'UNIX'.

There could be 1-??? spaces before the actual password starts. Most of our
users are using trumpet with SLIP. The same users having this problem can
get logged in say 8 out of 10 times.

Any ideas?
