I know... We urged this customer to get the livingston box, but they have
some policy which dictates Cisco on any router purchase. Now we're
stuck with the lousy cisco command-line interface :-(
I have to say this, but I personally feel that the livingston command-line
interface is much easier to understand and gives much more precise
control. For that matter I put the cisco command-line interface even below
that of our 3Com routers (which can be a little weird in places..).
I did show then how our PM-2 worked and they were very impressed. I
hope their next office router will be a Livingston. Sure would make
life a lot easier..
