After seeing this message (and Brian's of a day or so ago) I began
to think that others may not take too kindly to a whole bunch of
Merit related questions appearing on a Livingston maintained list.

Certainly people with Merit RADIUS questions should NEVER ask the
good guys at Livingston to answer them. They should ask me (or us)
but as of this writing we do not have any formal procedures set up
to handle general public RADIUS related questions. We are discussing
how and what form such support might look like in the future, but as
of this writing nothing formal is in place.

That said, I have informally (as time and my poor brain permits) tried
to answer any and all Merit RADIUS questions directed my way. I have
to be careful that this informal support role doesn't affect my work
output for the good guys at Merit (present company excluded!) and I
plan to continue doing this informal stuff until told otherwise. So,
please keep this in mind when you hit on me for information.

Since the above HP-UX question is not a RADIUS question per se, it
probably doesn't belong here, but I would assume that a simple file
copy of the *.5 and *.8 man pages to their respective man5 and man8
sub-directories whould suffice. We don't have any HP-UX boxes in house.

Bottom line: ask me about Merit RADIUS, not Livingston! :-)

Regards,

web...
