Yup. We are using HNMS (which uses SNMP) to monitor all our leased-line
customers. This includes a bunch of people who are connected to a PM2E-30
using USR Couriers and analogue leased lines.
As long as I stay away from the 'attach' command everything works 100% OK

Hmm... Strange..
Never, ever had any problems with the ethernet port on a PM. Sorry,
can't help you there.
