Once upon a time Krzysztof Adamski shaped the electrons to say...
>>VLSM, CIDR, OSPF, and BGP(4) are some of the most requested features.

VLSM = Variable Length Subnet masks. You don't have to split the subnets
evenly. 1/4 of the IPs on one subnet, 3/4 on the other.... etc...

CIDR = Classless Inter-Domain Routing. CLass A/B/C is meaningless, lets you
glue to C-classes together, lop of a chunk easily, etc...

OSPF = Open Shortest Path First. A newer routing protocol, slowly replacing
RIP. It is almost completely different, designed for modern topologies and
more efficient routing. But it's tables get to be HUGE.

BGP(4) = Border Gateway Protocol(4). Used by border routers mostly.

Now, did I munge any of those?
