I've mentioned COMt on the list a few times as a way to redirect Windows
comm ports to a modem on a PM acros your ether. We've made it available
from our FTP site so you don't have to go looking for it.

COMt is "The Telnet Modem". It is a shareware package Copyright (c) 1995, Performance Design. It will redirect a MS-Windows PC comm port across an ethernet using telnet. This will allow you to use standard Windows dialout packages with ports on a Portmaster for PC's on a TCP/IP network. It does not support IPX networks.

Note: The package is not supported by Livingston, we are providing it as a convenience to our customers, so that they need not search for it online. The user is responsible for registering COMt as stated in the enclosed usage agreement.

What's New in 2.0: Updated user-interface, making configuration easier. Support for Windows 3.x (Win16) applications under Windows NT. Support for incoming Telnet connections, allowing BBS and other software feature is supported through the standard Hayes-compatible S0 register. Choice of loading COMt at boot time or dynamically.
