We have multiple portmasters set up all over for different internet sites.
Actually, different domains in some cases.
I want to have a single radius server serve all these sites. However, you
can quickly run out of user names if enough John Smiths sign up, for instance.
So, is it possible for radius and unix to work together somehow so that
a given portmaster can point to a given passwd file on the radius server.
Of course, you run into all sorts of unix problems at that point, with
uids and stuff, but we're only being theoretical at this point.
I mean, it doesn't make sense to have a radius server for each portmaster
at a given site, does it. It also is not all the feasible to enter the
user info directly into the portmaster instead of using radius.
Anyway, that's my question.
