First statement yes, last no. 1006 is normal for SLIP, 1500 is normal for
PPP.

Frankly I'm having the damnedest time with Winsock 2.1f, I keep playing
with settings but nothing seems to make it reliable. And it isn't just to
PMs.

Anyone using 2.1f? Reliably? If so, can you send me your .ini file to test?

2.0b wasn't as bad...
