If the FreeBSD end supports it, use PPP unnumbered and turn RIP Broadcast
and Listen on.
The PM should set up the network route and broadcast it just fine, basically
you'd have a 28.8 async router runing.
When you say 'dedicated' I'm reading it as 'hardwired' - just to be clear.
