QUICK SET-UP FOR PORTMASTER 3 FOR CT1/PRI CIRCUITS

Introduction
This is a Quick Set-up guide for configuring a PortMaster 3TM to connect to your network. To demonstrate how to set up both Channelized CT1 and PRI services, this guide identifies line0 as configured for Channelized T1 and line1 for PRI service. In your actual setup, you may choose a single service (Channelized T1 or PRI) for both line0 and line1. Many of the values placed in the commands on this sheet are provided as examples. Please insert your actual values during set-up.

PortMaster 3 Quick Set-up Guide for Channelized T1 and PRI
Note: Do not over-configure the PM3. The port settings and modem settings run best using default values. Also customer specific applications, such as Channelized CT1 and Multichassis Multilink PPP, are higlighted. Only if you plan to implement any of these specific feature do you need to utilize the commands associated with them.

Use the console port to login. login: !root hit return twice to get to the Command prompt.
