QUICK SET-UP FOR PORTMASTER 3
FOR E1/PRI CIRCUITS
Introduction
This is a Quick Set-up guide for configuring a PortMaster 3TM to connect to your network. To demonstrate how to set up E1 and PRI service, this guide
identifies line0 for PRI service. Many of the values placed in the commands on this sheet are provided as examples. Please insert your actual values during set-up.
PortMaster 3 Quick Set-up Guide for E1/PRI
Note: Do not over-configure the PM3. The port settings and modem settings run best using default values. Also customer specific applications, such as Multichassis Multilink PPP, are highlighted. Only if you plan to implement any of these specific features do you need to utilize the commands associated with them.
Use the console port to login. login: !root hit return twice to get to the Command prompt.

The following information is for reference and troubleshooting.
To view system level messages from a Telnet session use the following
command.
ISP-PM3-1>set console
Note: Reset this when you are done by using the
command "reset console".
To view your configuration use the following commands.
